On hot august nights the cool mountain air. The drive up to Stio is well worth it. You can incorporate a trip to other local villages such as Gioi, to absorb the views and the town life. Even during the hot days of august, make sure you bring a jumper as the temperature cools dramatically in the wooded chestnut grove.
