Capalia is our farm in the heart of the Cilento national park
We have combined rustic luxury with things to do, activities that introduce you to the Cilento, that interest your mind, that move those muscles, as well as give you the chance to relax in peaceful surroundings.
Capalia is a small borgo, or a collection of buildings, that share common spaces where guests can come together as much or as little as they want. We have 3 spacious double rooms in our beautifully restored farmhouse buildings each with its own bathroom as well as plenty of outside space. The secluded outhouse, or Ma’azeeno, is a spacious, comfortable studio with a double bed on a mezzanine and two smaller beds for children. All rooms have their own secluded and shady area where guests can enjoy the natural surroundings, and there are numerous communal areas where activities and conversations take place.
We will organise walks, day trips and cycling tours to discover the undiscovered beauties around the Cilento. Visit our Cilento pages to find out more about all the things there are to do in the region. We have cookery classes and an afternoon spent making ceramics in stunning surroundings. Or come and join us for the olive harvest where you can see how the olive oil is made from tree to golden liquid. There are numerous communal areas around the house where activities and conversations take place. We sometimes eat together, meet at the pool, have a ping pong tournament or a game of table football. From here we can chat about the activities that are available that week, the feste and sagre that are worth visiting as well as enjoy the peace and quiet of our secluded home. Or you can just use the time to relax in the beautiful countryside.
