Cycling around the steep hills of the Cilento may seem a folly. However, those that are accustomed to vigorous biking will relish the challenge and will enjoy the stunning views from the high vantage points, the little villages that you will encounter, the remote inland places that seem untouched by time. And now, with electric bikes that are all the rage in Italy now, cycling around even for the less experienced is perfectly possible and enjoyable.

With a bike you extend the enjoyment of the peaceful, natural national park and will appreciate the slow and old world nature of the Cilento.

We have both electric and normal bikes that we can share with our guests and in Acciaroli there is a rental shop for electric bikes as well as spare and repairs.

As well as cycling around the immediate area of Capalia, there is a cycling route organised by the regione Campania called the Via Silente. The name means the ‘silent way’, and describes over 500km of routes across the Cilento in fifteen days of cycling.
